Hacking Health Hamilton is a forum where innovators in healthcare, design, and technology gather together to discuss and share their enthusiasm for improving healthcare through innovation, collaboration, and technology.

• You might be a physician, nurse, therapist, or allied health professional with an idea that could solve a problem, and you are looking for technical and design help to make that idea a reality.

• You might be an app builder with a concept for improving health and looking for clinical expertise to refine and deploy it.

• Or you might be a patient advocate enthusiastic about improving our health and wellness through the innovative use of technology.

Whoever you are, Hacking Health Hamilton is where you need to be!

This time we are at the new Hamilton Family Health Team building – the biggest Health Team in the province – headquartered on James St. North across from the CBC.

• We will take a close look at the technology used by healthcare professionals at Hamilton Family Health Team,

• Dr. Barbara Teal will talk about her experiences with apps and potential new apps that would be of use to the CCAC,

• and Duane Bender from Mohawk College’s renowned MEDIC will give a talk.

The Family Health Team building is an exciting new space for healthcare in Hamilton. You definitely want to see it.

Hacking Health Hamilton holds bi-monthly meetups where members of the community share their thoughts and insights on healthcare innovation and present engaging product demos.

We are constantly looking for enthusiastic presenters who are working on or have already created interesting technologies for health, who have concepts that they want to pitch, or who have technology that they can demonstrate.

Our audience includes a variety of healthcare professionals, interaction designers, entrepreneurs, innovators, community organizers, and people who work to support innovation. It’s the perfect place to share, connect, and get help with your projects.

Hacking Health is open to everyone, and every one of our events is held in one of our fantastic innovation and health centres in Hamilton. Be part of the Hacking Health movement. Don’t miss it!
