A Hamilton-based start-up company is looking for part-time programmers to immediately assist in the development of an online shopping website, that incorporates social networking functionality. Programming goals include database development and management, financial tracking and e-communications. Selected candidates would work as part of a team that includes, the founders, a prominent third-party Toronto-based web development agency, and business affairs and marketing personnel. This is an opportunity to part-take in an exciting venture from the ground floor. Compensation is creative, and open to negotiation, but will include participation in the venture’s proprietary business method. It is intended that the part-time position(s) evolve into full-time positions in late Spring 2011.
