Brazilian fintech delegation – April 5, 2015, 8:30am – 17:30pm (Apply for meetings now!):
The Government of Ontario International Trade and Investment Branch (Ministry of Citizenship, Immigration and International Trade) in partnership with MaRS Fintech, invites you to participate in a B2B session with a Brazilian financial services delegation comprised of banks, payment merchants/acquirers, fintech and tech firms. The group will be visiting Toronto as part of the Brazil-Ontario Innovation Week. These companies are seeking for technologies and partnerships ranging from insurance, emerging payments, peer-to-peer transaction, alternative lending , biometrics, blockchain technologies, crypto-currencies, analytics and mobile. The companies will select who they want to have 45 minute introductory B2B meetings with. Only those approved by the Brazilian firms will be contacted. QUESTION: In June, Ontario will lead EITHER a trade mission to E3 (gaming/entertainment) OR a Connected Car trade mission to TU/automotive. A minimum of 8 companies are needed to make it a reality. Deadline to submit your Expression of Interest in either trade mission is February 12; after this date I will decide if we do the mission to either E3 or TU Automotive.

Ontario connected car trade mission to TU-Automotive Detroit, June 8-9, 2016 – Michigan
The Government of Ontario’s International Trade Branch would be leading a trade mission to TU-Automotive 2016, the world’s largest event dedicated to the connected car attracting over 3,000 delegates and 300 exhibitors. The program, open to eight Ontario-based companies in the sector targeting U.S. and international markets, will include an Ontario pavilion featuring 8 companies, databases, an Ontario Business reception, market briefing and possibly meetings with local decision-makers. Cost: $2,200 for first time participants in an Ontario IT mission to the U.S. (deadline for “Early Bird” is March 31, 2016). Regular fee is $2,500 (travel and accommodation is extra). Past participants have priority registration only if applying with a first time participant pproved for the mission. The program, open to eight Ontario-based companies in the sector targeting U.S. and international markets, would include an Ontario pavilion featuring 8 companies, Databases, an Ontario Business reception, market briefing and possibly meetings with local decision-makers. $2,200 for first time participants in an Ontario IT mission to the U.S. (deadline for “Early Bird” is March 31, 2016). Ontario wireless trade mission to CTIA, Sept 7-9 – Las Vegas, USA
The Ontario Ministry of Citizenship, Immigration and International Trade invites you to be part of the Ontario wireless and M2M trade mission to CTIA (www.ctiawireless.com). Twenty four new and established companies will have the opportunity to exhibit in the Ontario Pavilion (# 2425) located on a main aisle next to Verizon and Samsung. Participants will also receive several value-added services including an up-to-date database, promotion at the Ontario Business Reception and a market intelligence briefing. Ontario tech trade mission to ComunicAsia, May 31-June 3 – Singapore
Ontario-based businesses are invited to join us, together with 45,000 attendees, at CommunicAsia, the most established ICT event of its kind in Asia (www.communicasia.com). The Ontario government is offering 12 Ontario companies the opportunity to exhibit in the Ontario showcase in the Canadian pavilion. Services offered to attendees include on-site meeting areas and a targeted B2B program involving pre-qualified buyers, decision-makers, strategic partners, distributors and resellers. On May 26-27 we will also offer an optional pre-show business mission to Vietnam to meet with pre-qualified buyers and strategic partners.
