FREE Public Event Celebrating Engineering Design, Innovation and Entrepreneurship
Everyone is invited to attend a FREE public event that provides a platform for graduate engineering students from the W Booth School of Engineering Practice and Technology to share work in progress. Select presentations will cover themes ranging from energy and transportation to health and wellness. They are representative of projects now emerging in Innovation Studio, a key component of the teaching and learning experience at the W Booth School. This year’s iteration of the studio is being led by Dr. David K. Potter, an Associate Professor at the W Booth School specializing in leadership, innovation, entrepreneurship and creativity.
The showcase event will feature a talk by Ty Shattuck, the recently-appointed CEO of McMaster Innovation Park, titled “Designing an Innovation Ecosystem: An Ultimate Systems Engineering Problem.”
Complimentary food and refreshments served.
