Upcoming Ontario tech trade missions

Jan 27-30: Canadian EdTech Export To Florida Initiative
Seeking to work with the strength of the Canadian Educational Technology Sector, MIAMI will organize a program on the margins of the Future of Educational Technology Conference (FETC) focusing on both the EdTech sector as a whole, with a potential focus on the rising Charter School segment in Florida. The TCS Miami team, in collaboration with  industry veteran Robert Martellacci of Mindshare Learning (a Canadian accelerator and information resource) will organize a CanAm industry mixer/reception at the FETC show in 2019. We are targeting 8Canadian high-achieving start-ups to be featured in a focused “Canada space”. To qualify, companies must be past the MVP stages of development and ready to sell into the US market (or be at the point of needing a local partner to sell).  “Start Up” is defined as less than 5 years old and less than 50 employees.  Some price easing may occur based on funds from Provinces and other organizations but the cost should be around $1500 to be included on the floor plan/agenda, access to power and internet, participation in “Pitch Day” activities with US VCs and partners, custom graphics on a single table stand in the pavilion.  (Perfect for a “table top” display and small staff.)  For details please contact matthew.waldron@international.gc.ca
