Can you 3D print success?

For the young entrepreneurs behind TIKO 3D, it turns out you can.

The group invented the most affordable and simple 3D printer on the market, and launched one of the most successful Kickstarter campaigns ever- raising $3.5 million CDN in 30 days, with more than 16,000 world-wide backers. (Read more about their start-up success-http://sparkcentre.org/wp-content/uploads/2016/06/2015-Spark-Centre-Annual-Report-Tiko.pdf)

So what does it take to be a successful tech inventor and entrepreneur?

It starts with an Idea. Tiko was founded by Matt Gajkowski (CEO), Sharon Charitar (CFO) and Michael Zhang (SCM.) The team created Tiko whilst they were university students, frustrated by the lack of 3D printing in education and the over complicated 3D printers that were being marketed to consumers. This small team designed and created the first prototype of Tiko and took the Kickstarter world by storm.

Their new printer is a breakthrough in accessible 3D Printing, poised to transform how designers, engineers, manufactures and students approach 3D Printing and prototyping.
